Anyone who watched last night's broadcast of Raw noticed right away that the company formerly known as the World Wrestling Federation, switched it's name to World Wrestling Entertainment, due to a legal issue with the World Wildlife Fund. Both wanted rights to the acronym 'WWF' but it was the World Wildlife Fund who won the battle, forcing this name change upon the former World Wrestling Federation.

As a result, one can assume that all future games from WWE will no longer contain the old logo, but the new one with the 'F' missing ("get the F out", as WWE calls it.) It is unsure about Wrestlemania X-8, as it is pretty far into production, but it will most likely be changed at the request of WWE to avoid further legal complications.

As for SWC, we may be switching as a result of this as well. We can no longer call ourselves 'SWC - WWF Games Coverage' unless we want to cover videogames based on pandas and giraffes. We are deliberating on this matter, and you guys will be the first to know when we decide.
